Annual Academic Scholarship

The Housing Authority of the City of Waco is providing an annual academic scholarship to deserving applicants who are residents of the Housing Authority of the City of Waco either in Public Housing, Section 8 or residents of our affordable housing properties.

Eligibility Requirements

1.       Maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or greater.

2.      Be a high school senior, high school graduate or GED recipient.

3.       Must reside in public housing, participate in WHA Section 8 program or reside in one of our affordable housing properties (Raintree, Cimmaron, Huntington, Piccadilly or Misty Square. )

4.      Applicants must be an undergraduate student attending full time.
