are proud to announce the winners for the

2007-2008 Scholarships

Rose Marie Spratt received an award of $2,000.00

Rose Marie is completing a course for Pharmacy Technician at TSTC in August and is not sure where she will be attending, but desires to get a degree in accounting.  

Evelyn J. McKinney received an award of $1,000.00 (not pictured)

Evelyn is attending MCC and is working on an Associates Degree in Nursing and Respiratory Therapy.

Nicolasa Hernandez received an award of $1,000.00

Nicolasa is currently finishing her study at MCC and plans to attend Tarleton State University in the spring to work on a Degree in Criminal Justice.  

Jocelyn Moss received an award of $750.00

Jocelyn has been attending MCC and received her Associates of Arts in the field of Criminal Justice in May 2007.   She has been accepted in to Tarleton State University where she desires to continue this field of study to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree. 

Tahshan Beck received an award of $750.00

Tahshan has decided to pursue a degree to become a Marriage and Family Guidance Counselor, when she completes her work at MCC she plans to attend Tarleton State University and major in Psychology.  

Willie Ruth ( Coco ) Johnson received an award of $500.00

Coco plans to enter MCC this fall and will be seeking an Associate’s Degree for an Administrative Assistant.
