The Section 8 Department of the Waco Housing Authority is made up of one Director, one Special Operations Manager, two Occupancy Specialists, seven Counselors, two Inspectors, and a Waiting List Clerk. It is the responsibility of this department to manage the HUD mandated voucher based rental assistance programs. The Section 8 Department was designated a "High Performer" on HUD's Section 8 Management Assessment Plan.
