Modernization
The Modernization Department is comprised of one Modernization Coordinator Assistant, one Technical Services Administrative Assistant, and one Construction Superintendent who report to the Vice President of Technical Services. This department is mainly concerned with the dissemination of Capital Funds Program in revitalizing existing public housing units and homes and managing revitalization programs for existing housing stock.
Management Information Services
The Management Information Services Department consists of one Network Administrator and one Systems Administrator who report to the Vice President of Technical Services. It is the responsibility of this department to maintain and manage all of the computer systems and communications equipment for the agency. The Housing Authority uses a proprietary accounting and Housing software as the backbone of its administrative computing environment controlled by HMS software created by Hab,INC.
The MIS Department is also responsible for 9 Satellite Offices including Rising Images (Raintree / Picadilly and Cimmaron / Hunnington / Misty Square Apartments), Hill and Somervell County, Mart Housing Authority, Kate Ross, South Terrace, Estella Maxey Rental Offices, Community Services, and Maintenance.
