reached funding capacity. Effective October 9, 2008, the Section 8 Rental
Assistance Program will no longer accept applications. Notice will be
published in the newspaper when the Section 8 waiting list re-opens.

TEXAS NAHRO SCHOLARSHIP
Texas NAHRO provides annual scholarships each year to deserving students, graduating from high school, whose families are Public Housing residents or Section 8 clients. Texas NAHRO has published the 2009 Texas NAHRO Scholarship Application. Click on the link below to receive instructions for applying and print a copy of the application. If you plan to continue your education please apply for a Texas NAHRO Scholarship.

The deadline for submission of a scholarship application is February 20, 2009. These applications will be reviewed by the Texas NAHRO Scholarship committee and the recipients announced at the 2009 Texas NAHRO Annual Conference in Galveston, Texas, April 18 - 22, 2009.
